When purchasing a vehicle from an individual seller, you are accountable for spotting any mechanical and cosmetic defects on the vehicle. You may be provided with a used-vehicle report by the seller, however, the history of the vehicle does not tell you whether or not preventative and routine maintenance have been done on the vehicle.
